Weekly Meeting Report (March 11th, 2009)
This is the report from the last meeting and coming up information.
1. International Day
Planning to have either on Thursday, April 17,or Saturday, April 18
Now, we may have prizes for attendance!!!! (DVDs, MP3 player, and etc…)
We have 7 country representatives:
USA, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, Ecuador, Panama, and Croatia
Representatives will cook your country’s food, set up a booth introduces your culture, and any performance.
*If you know anybody who can be a representative, please let us know !!!!!

2. Church Group –COMING UP-
A few members of the “Trinity Church” down the street will be coming to visit and check out our club meeting next Wednesday.
They would like to become more involved in our club and with International students. There will be SNACKS from them!!
3. Cooking Night
-REPORT- (Pics. are available on Facebook !!)
Mar. 10th Tue. –We had a Ecuador dish !!
7 people attended and Claudia showed us “Seco de pollo”(chicken stew with rice) and “Tostones” (fried prantain).
It was really good and everybody loved it !! Yummy <3

MONGOLIAN on Wednesday, March 25 @6:00 pm. Join us !!
4. Presentation –COMING UP-
The next PowerPoint Presentation is about Argentina.

Meeting Report Feb. 8
Hello ICC members.
This is the report of last club meeting.
1. New board members for this semester.
President: Giang Tran
First Vice President: Hiroko Furuhashi
Second Vice President: Jennifer Seiffert
Public Relations: Maximiliane Weiner
2. Trivia Night
ICC will host Trivia Night on Friday, March 14
So far, we planed……
Location: Leadership room
Time: 6pm
There will be food and snack as well. We are still deciding on other stuffs.
3. Speaker
We are expecting to get Dr. Fatemeh Keshavarz from Washington University to speak here. She is an Iranian academic, writer and literary figure and well known for her work about Iranian women. It costs $200 in order to have her
as a speaker.
We talked about it in the meeting and it got approved by members.
We are looking for Country Representative for Nepal. If you are interested, please contact me.

Report of the meeting held on January 31
Country Representatives
- We are selecting Country Representatives from each country.
- Task of Country Representatives:
1. Consider attending ICC meetings as required
2. Inform the student he/she is representing about ICC
3. Inform ICC about issues and concerns from the student body he/she is representing
4. Help and lead his/her group at the International Day
5. Get in contact with Non-profit organizations in the St. Louis area that is dedicated to promote their country
International Day (April 11)
- We need people to join the club so that we can have International Day this semester.
- Every memeber has to be in one of following teams:
Security team / Food team / Decoration team / Welcome team / Merchandise team / Electronics team / Set up team
