This is the report from the last meeting.

We had two new members from Nepal!! Yeah J

 

1.       Cooking Night

①    Feb. 25^th Wed. – Npalese (spicy!! xD) @6 P.M.

②    Mar. 10^th Tue. –Ecuadorean

③    Mar. 25^th Wed. – Mongolian

④    Apr.6^th Mon. – Japanese

⑤    May 1^st Fri.- American (good bye American lol.)

 

 

2.       Field Trip

To be more connected group, let’s have a field trip!!

Plans: dinner at the Drunken Fish (Sushi bar)/ club in St. Louis

 

3.       International Day

i)                    Country representatives

6 people + another 3(soon) +new member (Nepal)= 10 !!

ii)                   Donation for food

-ask restaurants and grocery stores for food?

 

4. Girl Scouts International Day Report 

Reported by Hiroko (vice president).

-Five members visited elementary school in Wentzville. They chat with kids and presented about each countries’ cultures.

 

5. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts fundraiser

We can start fundraising!!

i)              Sell partnership cards (buy dozen, get dozen free!)

ii)             Traditional doughnuts sale

This is the report from the last meeting.
-Valentine’s Day ver.-
since the Valentine’s Day was coming up, each one of us brought some candies and had this meeting!! Sweet

1. International Day
Our biggest event for this semester!!

Date: April 17th, 20009
Time: 12P.M.-11P.M.
Location: Spellmann Center

i) We discussed about whether we charge fee or not.
- FREE for people who have LU ID (including fucluties)
- $3 for public
ii) we may need more money… “What about fundraising?”
-make INTERNATIONAL COOKING BOOK!!

iii) How are we going to promote this event?
-Bulletin board
-Elementary school (as an extra credit?)
-Advertisement on newspaper

iv) Food (undecided)
-hand out tickets
-small potions on a plate
-cooking contest
-restaurant style
-ask cafeteria?!

v) let’s make a T-shirt!!
Approximately $7

2. Country PowerPoint Presentation
We introduce our own country/city in the beginning of the each meeting.
The topic can be your home country, town, or something you like about the place.

The next cooking night will be held on 23rd Feb (Mon) @6/6:30-
