Report of the meeting held on January 31

Country Representatives
- We are selecting Country Representatives from each country.
- Task of Country Representatives:
1. Consider attending ICC meetings as required
2. Inform the student he/she is representing about ICC
3. Inform ICC about issues and concerns from the student body he/she is representing
4. Help and lead his/her group at the International Day
5. Get in contact with Non-profit organizations in the St. Louis area that is dedicated to promote their country

International Day (April 11)
- We need people to join the club so that we can have International Day this semester.
- Every memeber has to be in one of following teams:
    Security team / Food team / Decoration team / Welcome team / Merchandise team / Electronics team / Set up team

Super Bowl Party hosted by ISI

Marc & Elise Murchison of ISI is hosting Super Bowl Party.

Date: Sun. February 3
Time: 4:00 – the end of the Game (about 8:30 p.m.)
Location: The Murchison home
                 1621 Barkwood Dr. Florissant, MO 63031
There will be FOOD, MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES, FRIENDS, FUNS, TABLE GAMES, CONVERSATION as well!!!!

If you want to attend, please let them know so they’ll have enough food and let them know if you need a ride.

Distinguished Speaker Series

The Office of Career Serviecs, Intercultural Club and Business Club invite you to join us for a special presentation by a representative from Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Date: Wed. Feburary 13th
Time: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Spellmann Center, Leadership Room

Discussion topics will include:
- interviewing techniques
- employment opportunities with Enterprise Rent-A-Car

First meeting this year. 01-24-08 Thursday

ICC has its meetings EVERY Thursday at 5.30pm in Spellmann Center 4095.

Beginning on Janurary ,24th .

At this meeting we will elect the new Board Members, Country Representatives and the Chiefs of Customized Fields. We will plan the course of this semester.

Welcome to Lindenwood, Spring 2008

Members of Lindenwood’s Intercultrual Club would like to give new incoming Freshman the chance to ask questions about living in the USA, St. Charles and Lindenwood in general.

The first week of class is a stressful time when you have never been on campus before. To make it as easy as possible for you we will provide  “insider tips” on textbooks, cell phone plans, international calls, where to go and what to do to change your classes, what is “work and learn”- positions you could possibly work at and more…

Date: Thursday, 17th

Time : 6pm-8pm

Location: Leadership Room, Spellmann Center (4th floor/biggest room/left site)

Maxililiane Weinert (Germany) will be your host. The follwoing students are going to help her answering your questions.
