Weekly Meeting Report (March 11th, 2009)
This is the report from the last meeting and coming up information.
1. International Day
Planning to have either on Thursday, April 17,or Saturday, April 18
Now, we may have prizes for attendance!!!! (DVDs, MP3 player, and etc…)
We have 7 country representatives:
USA, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, Ecuador, Panama, and Croatia
Representatives will cook your country’s food, set up a booth introduces your culture, and any performance.
*If you know anybody who can be a representative, please let us know !!!!!

2. Church Group –COMING UP-
A few members of the “Trinity Church” down the street will be coming to visit and check out our club meeting next Wednesday.
They would like to become more involved in our club and with International students. There will be SNACKS from them!!

Mar. 10th Tue. –We had a Ecuador dish !!
7 people attended and Claudia showed us “Seco de pollo”(chicken stew with rice) and “Tostones” (fried prantain).
It was really good and everybody loved it !! Yummy <3

We will not be having Krispy Kreme Doughnuts fundraising because it would be hard to sell
the huge amount of doughnuts….BUT!! we will have Bake Sale. Since we are international group,
we can sell many types of treats from all over the countries and people may be interested in themJ
Give us your yummy sweets’ recipe in your country!!!
5. Activities
“it’s gonna be more fun if we have a little game or break during this meeting!”

② Chatting (ex. plans for Spring Break etc. )
→whenever you want to go somewhere, people may want to go, too. we should post a plan that you want to do on weekend with others!! so we can do it together!!

i) We discussed about whether we charge fee or not.
- FREE for people who have LU ID (including fucluties)
